Z and C Teriyaki and Sushi

by BtownMenus on November 29, 2010

I had passed by Z and C Teriyaki dozens of times over the past since year since its launch.  Located on the heart of Kirkwood, this place is easy to walk by and miss.   I was really hungry on a gloomy day last week, and I am all about trying new restaurants, so I decided to give Z and C Teriyaki and Sushi a shot.  Remember growing up as a kid and going to a nearby mall that had really cheap and delicious chicken teriyaki?  If you are looking for a quick and satisfying meal that will have you in and out within ten to fifteen minutes.  I was very happy with the Chicken Teriyaki, which comes with your choice of white rice, fried rice, or noodles.  However, if you are on a health kick don’t let this place become a regular stomping ground.  The chicken is very greasy and probably why it tastes so good!

Sushi is one of my favorite foods, and I tried out the spicy salmon and spicy tuna rolls. Let’s just say that if you want some high quality fish, this isn’t where to find it. The fish wasn’t fresh and I left there knowing why their sushi is such a good deal.  You get what you pay for, and if convenience is your top priority you can get away with spending $6 for lunch or dinner at Z and C Teriyaki and Sushi.  I am sure I will go back now and then to fulfill my chicken teriyaki craving that pops up randomly.

Cost Friendly: Extremely, you can get a full meal for $6!
